25 Blythe Road, the specialist auction house in Olympia, will be hosting a Pictures Valuation Day on the 10th November 2016 offering saleroom estimates on 18th – 21st century pictures including paintings, drawings, lithographs and prints.
That picture left to you by a relative that you are fond of but know nothing about, who is it by? Is it a real oil painting? Is it rare? What is its value? Harry Moore-Gwyn, an established expert and curator with a good knowledge in all epochs is looking forward to meeting people from the West London area who might have pictures they would like to know more about. 25 Blythe Road founded in 2007 is a collective of highly experienced specialists many of
whom who have worked at Sotheby’s who organise their own auctions twice a year under
one roof in Olympia. The specialists will willingly sell good quality low value lots to
open up the doors to first time collectors, starting at £50, going up to many tens of
thousands. Curators, collectors and dealers from around the world buy from the various
fields of expertise.
The auctions also include Posters, Photographs, British & Continental Pictures, Prints and
Drawings, European and Asian Works of Art which includes Silver, Ceramics, Jewellery
and Objects of Vertu and Sculpture. Also Antique Arms, Armour & Militaria, and
Maritime and Scientific Models, Instruments and Works of Art. Each auction is preceded
