ABOUT WILD & SONS AND BROOKLANDS MUSEUM – Classic American Car Day
Wild & Sons will be exhibiting at Brooklands Museum. Join us for a feast of Pick ups, Convertibles, Chevys, Hard Tops, Soft Tops and Roadsters representing the best American cars around. The Paddock and Motoring Village will be adorned with these larger than life cars in a blaze of colour and chrome.
Wild & Sons build and service classic cars, high-performance Hot Rods, Rat Rods, bikes, supplies car parts, and custom pinstriping. They are based in Hammersmith and work across the UK and abroad.
Wild & Sons use paint pin striping to create their own custom look on cars and bikes. They fully pinstripe engine valve covers and air cleaners by hand, and press their own valve covers and air cleaners, or may use basic black engine dress-up kits by Edlebrock for example. Wild & Sons work will be on display at Brooklands Museum on September the 4th.
ABOUT BROOKLANDS MUSEUM – the world’s first purpose-built motor racing circuit, constructed at Weybridge, Surrey in 1907 – was more than a great sporting arena. Brooklands was the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation, home of Concorde and the site of many engineering and technological achievements throughout eight decades of the 20th century.
The Museum displays a wide range of Brooklands-related motoring and aviation exhibits ranging from giant racing cars, motorcycles and bicycles to an unparalleled collection of Hawker and Vickers/ BAC-built aircraft, including the Second World War Wellington Bomber, Viking, Varsity, Viscount, Vanguard, VC10, BAC One-Eleven and the only Concorde with public access in South East England.
We hold a wide range of special events, mainly on weekends and during school holidays. These include car club visits (often with Test Hill in action), Auto Italia Italian Car Day,The Brooklands Double Twelve Motorsport Festival, aviation events and car rides on weekdays during school holidays. See our Events pages for further details.
